Tesco or Houses?

At the time of writing (26 March 2010), Rye is waiting to hear who are going to be the new owners of the old Primary School in Ferry Road.
A meeting arranged ‘behind closed doors’ is expected to resolve who will be the purchaser.

ADVENTURES IN RYE

Reading the letter from John and Mary in last month’s Pen & Ink column, I couldn’t agree with them more.
The old Ferry Road School would make a lovely sport and gym centre where mums and dads and children could go.
