Driver and witnesses sought after boy is hurt in Hastings collision
Police wish to trace the driver of a black 4×4 or sports utility vehicle which failed to stop at the scene following a collision with a 12-year-old boy in Winchelsea Lane, opposite the Hastings Academy, Ore, shortly before 4pm on Monday (29 January).
The child sustained a fractured right knee and was treated at the Conquest Hospital, St Leonards-on-Sea.

Two teenagers charged following violent incidents in Hastings and St Leonards
Two teenagers have been arrested and charged with offences following local police investigations into violent incidents in St Leonards and Hastings.
A 17-year old boy has been charged with grievous bodily harm following an attack in Norman Road, St Leonards, at 9.20pm on Tuesday (23 January). The 16-year-old victim was hit over the head and needed several stitches in the wound.
The same 17-year-old has also been charged with witness intimidation, affray and possession of an offensive weapon – a knife – following a separate incident in White Rock Road, Hastings, at 8.45pm on the same evening, in which an 18-year-old man was allegedly approached and threatened by three young men with knives. Drink-driver convicted following head-on collision
This was the result of a woman being almost four times the drink-drive limit.
Emma Tingley was driving a black Ford Focus which was involved in a head-on collision with a white Toyota Aygo in Willingdon Drove, Eastbourne.
Her vehicle had drifted onto the wrong side of the carriageway prior to the crash at the junction with Sevenoaks Road.

Police seeking information following two armed robberies in Hastings
Police are seeking information regarding two armed robberies which occurred in Hastings on the evening of Wednesday 3 January.
Between 8pm and 8.30pm, a group of six hooded male youths, at least one of which was wearing a face mask, entered a property in Devonshire Road.
They threatened the occupier with a baseball bat and ransacked the house. The group then escorted the man along South Terrace and St Andrews Square area to a second property, before making off. Continue reading Two Armed Robberies in Hastings

Witnesses sought after knifepoint robbery at Hastings Co-op store
Police are searching for two robbers who held up staff in a Hastings shop at knifepoint and stole cash.
Just before 11pm on Wednesday (3 January) the pair entered the Co-op store in Fairlight Road, Hastings, each wielding a knife, and demanded cash from the till.
Three members of staff and two customers were in the store at the time but nobody was injured.
