ARRCC was very fortunate to have the support of E.S.C.C., Rye & Winchelsea District Memorial Hospital, The league of Friends and a local trust providing funding for the substantial refurbishment costs. Rye Chosen for Hospice Neighbours Launch
When you are living with a life limiting illness, the world doesn’t stop and there are many everyday tasks that still need to be done. For those living with illness, the added upset of facing an overgrown garden that cannot be maintained or the difficult decision of losing a much loved pet that can’t be exercised can add even more distress to an already testing time. A new service provided by St Michael’s Hospice and launching in Rye aims to alleviate these pressures by seeking ‘Hospice Neighbours’ to help those in need.
