‘Gun’ Point Robberies in Hastings

Police seek witnesses to linked Hastings and Bexhill burglaries

Several recent incidents in Bexhill and Hastings in which a man carrying some sort of pistol has robbed or tried to rob victims are being investigated by police.

Amber Rudd is a Conservative Party politician who was elected as Member of Parliament for the East Sussex constituency of Hastings and Rye at the May 2010 general election, defeating the incumbent Labour MP Michael Foster. Amber subsequently went on to retain the seat, with an increased majority in the 2015 general election

Amber Rudd was appointed Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change on 11 May 2015. She was the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change from July 2014 until May 2015. She was elected Conservative MP for Hastings and Rye in 2010. Murder investigation launched into disappearance of Hastings man

Police looking into the disappearance of Hastings man Karl Bunster have arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

A 48-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested in Exeter, Devon, on Wednesday (10 February) and are currently in custody. They will be brought to Sussex for questioning. Continue reading Murder Investigation

Behind the gates….. Buckswood welcomes many new families to first Open Day of the year

This weekend the gates of Buckswood School between Hastings and Rye, were thrown open for the first Open Day of the year. Over 70 people visited the campus to find out about the school having seen the news about all the latest developments to the quirky campus including a woodland activity centre where the students shoot zombies for field archery practice, new sports fields and the laying of the foundations for a new Great Hall.
