Murder Investigation – Body Found at St Leonards

Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a body was found on the beach at St Leonards.

Officers were called at 7.40am on Thursday (5 April) after a walker reported finding the body of a man in Bridge Way.

Witnesses sought as police investigate violent incident in St Leonards-on-Sea

Six people, all known to each other, were arrested on suspicion of affray following a violent incident in St Paul’s Road, St Leonards-on-Sea, in which two men, aged 18 and 26, sustained knife wounds.

The A259 road on the Kent-Sussex border at East Guldeford, near Rye, was closed in both directions for almost seven hours on Wednesday (26 October).
