Several recent incidents in Bexhill and Hastings in which a man carrying some sort of pistol has robbed or tried to rob victims are being investigated by police.

Two people have appeared in court after police recovered a firearm in Hastings.
Tamara Callan, 42, and Antony Hearn, 43, appeared in custody, via videolink, at Brighton Magistrates Court on Thursday (3 March), charged with possession of a semi-automatic machine pistol and ammunition with intent to endanger life, contrary to Section 16 of the Firearms Act 1968.
