Local Cycling- Early Season Activity
Cycling clubs from all over East Sussex and Kent took part in the Kent Group VTTA Annual Reliability Trial which started and finished at Bethersden on Sunday 8 February.

The Film of the Wheelers 2016 Barbecue Over thirty members of the Rye & District Wheelers were present at ARRCC for their 2016 Barbecue. Paul Simpson (Head Chef) and his assistant, William were in charge of the fire and despite lots of smoke managed to produce well cooked sausages etc.

Rye Town Band 1938
Rye had a fine brass band for many years. Alas it is no more. This photograph was taken shortly before the Second War, in 1938, and was loaned to us by Sylvia Cutting whose Dad Bill can be seen third from the left in the top row.
