Barry Gets Under The Hour

59minutes 39seconds in the Twickenham Cycling Club event on a course near Andover saw Barry get under the hour with 21 seconds to spare. He beat his own Rye & District Wheelers Club Record by more than two and a half minutes. This is a long awaited moment in Wheelers history and will inspire other riders to emulate Barry’s achievement.                                 Reliability Trial

Nine members took part in a Reliability Trial organised by the San Fairy Ann Cycling Club of Maidstone.

Three years ago, Stuart Pope and I joined the ‘Convoy Of Hope’ driving trucks full of locally collected aid to Kosovo. This was run by a small privately run charity called British Humanitarian Aid and comprised of vehicles – small vans, trucks, a coach and an articulated lorry driven by volunteers from all over the country. Three years ago, Stuart Pope and I joined the ‘Convoy Of Hope’ driving trucks full of locally collected aid to Kosovo. This was run by a small privately run charity called British Humanitarian Aid and comprised of vehicles – small vans, trucks, a coach and an articulated lorry driven by volunteers from all over the country.
