Election Day
Today is Election Day
This is probably the most open election held in this country since the early 1900s. No one seems to have a clue as to the outcome. Every single vote in every single constituency will count this time.
Many newspapers and magazines, even television companies are biased toward one political party or another – some even tell their readers which way to vote.

Rye Town Clerk, Richard Farhall tells us
“The timber needed to be replaced but the Environment Agency A has a policy of not using hardwood so there was a delay while a reclaimed source could be found. Then the EA’s carpenter was off. He is back now but there are certain activities he can no longer easily do – and so volunteers are helping. A soon as I have a return date I will let everyone know”.
