Police seek witnesses to robbery in St Leonards

Police are appealing for witnesses to a knife-point robbery at the One Stop store in Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards.

At around 10.10pm on Sunday (26 February) a man walked into the shop and threatened the two staff members with a knife. One of the shop workers, a 34-year-old man, sustained a minor injury to his hand during the incident.

The suspect made off with approximately £690 in cash. He is described as white, 6′, of slim to medium build and with stubble. He was wearing a light coloured mask with red markings around the eyes and mouth, a blue hooded top with a small motif, dark denim jeans and yellow gloves. Unisured & Untaxed Drivers Being Dealt With

Uninsured and untaxed cars caught in Rother

Hastings and Rother Neighbourhood Policing Teams were out and about last week looking at uninsured and untaxed cars, as well as those with no MOTs.
