Lesley Dunford to face trial for alleged murder of her son in Camber

At a hearing before Mr Justice Singh at the Old Bailey on Friday (19
February) defence Counsel for Lesley Dunford, 37, of Windermere Close, Exeter, Devon, applied to have her plea of Guilty to murder vacated, ie withdrawn.
Dunford had pleaded Guilty at Lewes Crown Court on 29 January, to the murder of her seven month-old son, Harley, at the family’s then address in Pelwood Road, Camber, on 27 August 2003.
The application on 19 February was granted and a plea of Not Guilty was entered.
She is now due to appear in custody for trial at Lewes Crown Court on Monday 11 April.
