A Golden Day
Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hyder of 15 Eagle Road, Rye, celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on 1st March.
They spent the day receiving relatives and opening cards and presents, among which was a fine jug which was presented to them by the members of the ‘Over 65 Club.’
Their wedding took place at the Bible Christian Chapel, Warehorne, in 1916, officiated by the Reverend Miss Lilian Edwards. Mrs. Hyder was formally Miss Hetty Ethel Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Hyder moved to Rye in 1919
