The club resumes activities on Monday 6th September, meetings are held at Playden WI Hall, at 7-30 pm every fortnight. The first meeting is called the “Chairman’s Meeting”, this is when the Chairman invites members new and old, to show the club what they have done over the summer recess. Dreams take centre stage for The Rapdramatic

The fantasy world of dreams and nightmares was the theme for AudioActive and The School Creative Centre’s Rapdramatic 2010, an ambitious project that saw a team of 27 young people aged 13-24 take centre stage to write, compose, choreograph, film and produce a brand new musical show in just five days. The Music Well

 A new provision for ‘Music for Wellbeing’ in the Rye area

Music Therapist Liz Butt has decided to expand her service to encompass other musical activities for health and wellbeing. These activities will include drumming circles, singing groups, music lessons and bringing music sessions to the housebound as well as music therapy. The letter from Graham Saunders about the brass cricket ball reminded me of a time, years ago, when he and I belonged to a local club that held Clay Pigeon Shoots at the top of White Heart Hill, Guestling. One of the other members was a distinguished man by the name of Dr. Adams, a man who loved his shooting. Early targets he shot had included glass balls filled with feathers and brass balls that rang like bells when hit. He attended all meetings.
