An amazing collection of paintings, many by local artists, are on display at the new Rye Art & Framing Gallery at the Atlas Industrial Estate on Rye Harbour Road.
Pictures by Adam Barsby, Helen Rhodes, Charlotte Atkinson, Francis Farmer, Terry Kirkwood, Stan Rosenthal and many others festoon the walls of the two story Gallery run by Michael Preston.
The picture of the warehouses on The Strand, painted by Winchelsea artist ……… ………….., who is in her …….. year, caught the eye. It portrays Rye from an offbeat angle, avoiding the usual stereotyped views of the town. The exhibition is ever changing and is worthy of regular visits. Another great feature is the ‘while you wait’ framing service, so customers can wander round the gallery as their pictures are mounted and framed.
