Alfred Robert Quinton was the best known and most prolific artists working for J. Salmon Ltd. of Sevenoaks.
‘The Landgate’ and ‘The Corner Shop’ are by E.W. Hazelhust and published by A. Vivian Mansell and Co. Ltd.
Some readers will remember Miss Bellamy, who ran the Corner Shop and from whom I bought my first Rye postcards, they can be seen displayed though the open door.
