London Murderer was brought up in Rye

Masood Shot Dead at Westminster.

It was revealed yesterday that the London Murderer has been identified by police as Khalid Masood.

The Westminster attacker, Masood, 52, was born as Adrian Elms and it’s claimed by the “Mail”, that he lived in a £300,000 house in Rye when he was a boy. 

The so-called Islamic State group has claimed it was behind the attack.

According to the Metropolitan police, three women and five men were arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts following Wednesday’s attack.

  • A woman aged 39 was arrested in east London
  • A 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were arrested in Birmingham
  • A 26-year-old woman and three men aged 28, 27 and 26 were arrested at another address in Birmingham
  • A man aged 58 was arrested at an address in Birmingham

Home Secretary Amber Rudd, the Rye & Hastings Member of Parliament told those gathered for a candlelit vigil in London’s Trafalgar Square on Thursday evening that terrorists “will not win”.

“We are all connected and today we showed that by coming together, by going to work, by getting about our normal business, because the terrorists will not defeat us. We will defeat them,” she said.

Killer Lived in Northiam in 2000

The “Telegraph” reports that in 2000 he was living at Northiam under the name of ‘Ajao’ with his wife and two children. He already had a record of being a career criminal with a history of violent knife crime.

After an altacation with a local cafe owner Piers Mott, that ended with Elms stabbing Mr, Mott in the face he was given two years in prison.

According to the “Telegraph” he stayed at the Preston Park Hotel in Hove the night before his cowardly London attack that left five people dead and more than 40 with injuries.
