Very Latest from Environment Agency for Tillingham and Brede Flood Alert Still Stands Report Issued at (.30 am. Sunday 10 January
Overnight rainfall over the Tillingham and Brede catchments was 10 to 20mm. Falling on ground that is already saturated, river levels are expected to rise through Sunday morning. The forecast is for a showery day on Sunday, with a band of heavy rain overnight and into Monday morning. This will cause river levels to rise once again. We are not expecting property flooding, but further flooding of low lying land is likely. We continue to monitor the situation closely.
