New Art Gallery at Atlas

Rye Art & Framing Centre and Gallery have recently opened at the Atlas Industrial Park, Rye Harbour. The Proprietor Michael Jon Preston has eight years experience and is a fully trained professional framer. The framing Centre also features a suburb Gallery situated on two floors enabling browsing in a relaxed atmosphere with refreshments available. A ‘while you wait’ framing service is just one of the unique benefits at hand.

Although the Gallery has been fully opened since April, there was a special open day on Saturday 19 June. Many people from a wide area came along to view the exciting range of art. Also on display were a variety of mouldings and mounts.
Michael was kept very busy framing work purchased on the day. Customers were delighted with the quality of the framing and the relatively short time that it took.
Business was also brisk with many pictures sold from the Gallery. These included works by Adam Barsby, Wendy MacBride, Stan Rosenthal, J. Roybale and others.

It is hoped that there will be special show days every few months with wine and refreshments. The Gallery is open for business Monday to Saturday.
