Where’s Boris?
Each year the businesses of Rye celebrate Wild Boar Week by hosting a children’s Hog Hunt event. With the sad passing of the town’s beloved artist John Izod earlier this year (who kindly supplied the artwork for this event in previous years) we decided to do something a little different.
Over 100 shops and businesses in the town will be displaying a page from a children’s book “Where’s Boris?” in their windows. The book was written especially for Wild Boar Week by local author Lawrence Wilson and illustrated by local artist Emma Erswell.
Children will be able to find the first nine pages from the book to piece together the story before finally heading to the toy department upstairs in Adams of Rye to find the last page in the book and collect their chocolate bar prize!
Wild Boar Hog Hunt Forms will be available from Adams of Rye during the week or online to download from wildboar.org.uk
