One of Hazel’s mottos is FITIME, FITSWIM, FITRUN, FITCAMP which more or less encompasses the personal training offered

Fitness Camps/Outdoor Fitness are held on Mondays at 6.30 p.m. and Saturdays at 8 a.m. from the Gym and Saturdays at 9.45 a.m. at Frenchman’s Beach Holiday Park, Rye Harbour.

Group leader, Hazel Fulker, organises training groups for anyone who wants to take part.

Hazel tells me she can cater “For all levels/and ages from 14 upwards (with parents), Outdoor fitness/runengland sessions, gives you cv work and also builds/tones your body, working on fitness from running for fun or racing. We have lots of fun and you get fit at the same time, £3 a session. You can power walk-run in no time at all. From beginners-advanced I can help you all”

Mike Chapman, co-owner at 20/20 fit Gym, works closely with the NHS, in particular with the Cardiac and Diabetic Clinic at the Conquest Hospital who send patients to 20/20 at Rye for a 10 week remedial and assessment programme. He also takes referrals from 49 GP Surgeries.

90% of those completing the 10 week assessment find it beneficial to stay on and take up Gym membership.

Mike also works with Age Concern and plans similar links with Diabetics UK and ARRCC in Rye.

There are FITNESS CAMPS, aka “Bootcamps” for children on a Monday from 3.45 to 4.45 (ages 10 years upwards) and Tuesdays 3.30 to 4.45 (ages 6 years upwards).

From first hand experience, I can recommend these classes joining together “fun with fitness”. Hazel goes the extra mile, taking time to explain, particularly to the younger participants, the benefits that fitness can bring; explaining muscle and bone structure and most of all making her classes fun for all.

Personal training for running, swimming for general fun and fitness or training towards an event.
