St. Mary’s Bay Camera Club sent in this amazing selection of photographs, taken recently by members. Among the shots are many of local places. Photography has been a well recognised pastime since Louis Daguerre invented a new way to take pictures back in 1837. It only needed 30 minutes of light exposure, and the image didn’t fade with time. Today the process is so much easier but the principals in making good pictures remain the same.
