Town Manager Yolanda Laybourne organiser of Pride in Rye Week and
Lorna Hall the flag bearer for Rye In Bloom have been working hand
in glove to get the town spick and span for the three big competitions,
Rye, South-East and Britain in Bloom that are just around the corner.
Teams have been out on a regular basis for months, picking up rubbish
and tidying every corner of the town. Everyone can play a part, just
picking up a few sweet cartons and crisp packets will all go one step
towards the town winning the biggest prize it has ever aimed at, “Britain
in Bloom 2004”

have to join anything to help, pick up just one piece of rubbish and
you are in the Rye team
