Late night robbery at Hastings house
Police are searching for four men who carried out a late-night robbery at a house in Hastings.
At about 11.30pm on Saturday 7 May there was a knock at the door at an address in The Bourne, Hastings, whilst the couple who lives there were indoors.
When the 48-year old woman opened the door four men entered wearing balaclavas.
One of them struck the 52-year old man who lives there in the face, and they stole two iphones.
One of the suspects is described as white, in his late twenties, 5’8″ and of average build with short black hair. He was wearing a black hooded top and blue jeans.
One of the men was in black clothing, 5’10”-6′ and of slim build.
The men, who were all wearing black gloves, ran off towards Bourne Passage.
Detective Constable Chloe Barden said; “The Bourne is quite a busy main road in and out of Hastings and I am keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a group of men walking towards or running away from the area, wearing mainly black clothing.
