Single vehicle crash at Northiam sadly proves fatal
At 10.48pm on Tuesday (2 August) police were called to the B2165 at Northiam, north-west of Rye, where a Ford Ka had left the road and overturned.
Road Closed
The road was closed between Watt’s Palace Lane and the A28 Hastings Road until 3am while the crash was investigated and the scene cleared.
Fatal Injuries
Sadly the driver, a 19-year-old woman from Battle, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The East Sussex coroner has been informed.
