Man Who Died in Railway Incident at Rye on Tuesday 1 October Lived in Rye
The man who died when he was in collision with a train on the railway at the Windmill Tillingham foot crossing near Rye Station in the early afternoon on Tuesday last. (1 October) was a 68 year old Rye man. There were several trains cancelled due to the incident.
A police statement said his relatives had been informed but his name will not be made known until the inquest into his death has been opened
