Refuse Collector in Critical Condition
We are getting reports of a refuse collector who is in a critical condition in hospital after suffering a serious head injury at work on Thursday morning 28 January.
The man seems to have had a fall in Old Lydd Road, Camber.
Community First Responders were first on the scene of the incident, followed by paramedics and the Air Ambulance, which landed in a field adjacent to the scene of the incident.
The refuse collector, who has not yet been named, was airlifted to the Royal Sussex Hospital at Brighton.
Sussex Police reported the man to be in a critical condition but the incident was not being treated as a police matter.
