Woman robbed of purse in Bexhill street – did you see what happened?
Police are appealing for witnesses to an attack on a 63-year old Polegate woman who was robbed of her purse while she was walking along Cooden Sea Road, Bexhill between 4.25pm and 4.35pm on Wednesday 11 January.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged in his twenties or thirties, 6′, and of large build. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket with the hood up, and dark coloured trousers.
Investigator Lucy Marshall said; “During the attack the woman received a blow to her chest area which caused shortness of breath and she has been left feeling shocked and scared.”
