One of the ‘larger’ lots up for sale at the Bonfire Boys Auction of Promises, held recently at The George Hotel was Section Fives’ large band of merry drummers. The promise to play was purchased by the Riverhaven Hotel on The Strand
Quay.
The event took place on Saturday 10 September and a 24 strong group of the group’s best drummers took part in a parade from the Pipemakers Arms to the Riverhaven where a thunderous performance was greeted with enthusiasm by diners and casual onlookers at the well known Rye venue.
