Killed by Car in Costa Coffe Shop
The 74 year old woman who was killed, in tragic circumstances, on Christmas Eve at Westerham was from Rye, Police have revealed.
A black Audi drove through the window of the Costa Coffee shop, injuring several people. The woman from Rye was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car, reportedly driven by an 88 year old man, was removed from the building and taken away for Investigation.
The woman was in Costa’s with her family, the incident took place between 10 and 11 am on 24 December.
The deceased victim, has not been formally identified. Two men and two women were taken to nearby hospitals. A fifth victim was taken to Pembury Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
