Witnesses sought after local man is assaulted in Broad Oak, Brede
Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a white man in his 60s which occurred in Chitcombe Road, Broad Oak, Brede, on Thursday, 7 July.
The victim, a local man, was on foot delivering parish newsletters in the village with his wife when the assault took place between 10.15am and 10.45am.
It involved the victim being struck by the bumper of a car, causing him to suffer a twisted knee. The car then drove off.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged 55-65, 5’10” – 6′, of medium build and with short grey hair and grey/brown facial stubble.
He was at the wheel of a silver car, believed to be a Vauxhall and possibly an estate model.
