Jimper Sutton, television personality and writer of articles and short stories has just seen the publication of his first novel. “Moon Girl” is a love story with a twist in the tail. It features Mandy, a gypsy girl with a dark secret who, forbidden to see boys, falls in love with John and goes behind her parents backs to see him. A chance meeting with an aunt results in a pony as a gift to replace the one she has lost. This subsequently leads to the downfall of Mandy’s family and one cold night she is taken away from John to reveal to the world her secret. As with most of Jimper’s work it is a “can’t put down book”, his gift of revealing just enough of what is to follow without making it too obvious invariably draws one on to the next page again and again. Jimper has two more novels on the stocks. One due out in the Spring and a further to follow around October time. If they are half as good as this one .they will be well worth waiting for.
