Over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend in May 2015 one of the largest international meetings ever held by the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club will be staged at Westenhanger, Folkestone Racecourse, near Hythe in Kent.
The event, organised by the RREC South of England Sections and supporting a number of deserving charities, will feature not just Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars from all over Europe but many other veteran, vintage and classic vehicles from prominent motoring clubs, related organisations and individual owners of classic British motor cars.In addition, it will include extensive trade and commercial exhibitions, a prestigious car sale by a leading auction house, a gala banquet, touring events, musical entertainment and scores of other attractions. A growing number of well-known retail and manufacturing concerns – from both sides of the Channel – have also indicated their intention to support the event.
The suitability of the venue to cater for the event is already well proven. The immense acreage of the site with its abundant facilities is more than certain to make this international event a very pleasant and memorable occasion.
With something approaching a third of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club’s members living in the South East of the UK and another third across the Channel the location of Folkestone Racecourse makes it a convenient choice for many attending such a major international meeting. The Channel Tunnel terminal and ferry ports are close by and there are direct links through the adjacent rail and motorway systems to the rest of the country and to Europe. This event is open to the public who are welcome to enjoy the festivities for a great weekend!
