The Rye & District Flower Club celebrated the great occasion at the George Hotel ïn Monday 5 July.
Arrangements for the very special moment in the Club’s history were presented as an anniversary theme. A display of golden blooms by Chairman Sheila Tuder-Cowne, a member since 1983, represented 50 years.
The Saphire year was a joint effort in blue by President Peggy Spence and Janet Johnson a Committee Member.
A magnificent display of Red Roses symbolized the Ruby 40th. year. Treasurer Dorothy Butcher was responsible for this creation.

Sapphire blue is the colour for 45 years. President Peggy Spence and
keen Committee Member Janet Johnson were responsible for this excellent
creation.
