TILLING GREEN RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIATION On Saturday 12th April the Tilling Green Residents Association held its annual Easter Event at the Tilling Green Community Centre. This year various local youth groups were invited to have a free table so they could raise funds for there group. 200 people attend the event.

RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIATION On January 28th TGRA arranged for the Rye Neighbourhood plan to do a presentation of the plan at the Tilling Green Community Centre. Many at the meeting asked about the dispute between Sainsbury and Tesco to build a supermarket at the former Lower School site.

Sarah Owen Visits ARRCC
In the run up to the local County Council Elections local charity ARRCC welcomed Sarah Owen, Paul Barlow and Steve Bassam to their premises at The School Creative Centre in Rye. Sarah and Steve found time in their busy schedules to spend the afternoon with Members, staff and volunteers at ARRCC and ARRCC Elders.

All Fun And Dance at Tilling Green By Helen Day Line Dance class takes place on Friday mornings 10.15 – 11.45am at Tilling Green Community Centre, Mason Road, Rye. This is a lovely friendly group and a real delight to teach.

Congratulations to Rye Pre-School Playgroup, who have opened up a Nursery at Tilling Green Community Centre. It is open to children aged from 3 months – 2 years and opens from 8am-6pm over, 50 weeks of the year. They have an outside play area, with soft area for the younger children.
