Rye Country Show 2007

GET YOUR ANTIQUES VALUED AT THE SHOW

Great news about this year’s Rye Show at Salts Farm, East Guldeford on Saturday August 18th …

All the old favourites will be there again to thrill and amuse everyone – the Rye Warbirds model aeroplanes, Terrier Racing, Grand Raffle, lots of fun games and sideshows and stalls, and of course the multi-ring Horse Show and Dog Show.

But this year’s Show will be bigger and better than ever, with some new attractions that will make you want to race along to Salts Farm – Rye Auction Galleries are sending a team of experts along to value your antiques – just bring them along and you’ll have the experts’ views and knowledge and all items will be valued FREE!

Please bear in mind that this valuation takes place at Salts Farm – under canvas, of course – so it is unsuitable for large items, ie. anything that can’t be carried comfortably across a stretch of field. Friends of Rye Memorial Hospital are pleased to welcome Rye Auction Galleries to the Show this year.

Also new is a Dog Agility feature – at 1130am, Julie Dowle will be giving a demo, then anyone can have a go at the course, £1 per dog, with all proceeds going to the Memorial Care Centre, Rye’s local hospital.suns

So, what with the spectacular parade of hounds and live jazz being played all day, the Rye Show is a must for all the family.

Horse Show starts at 9am, Dog Show Agility at 1130 and classes at 12 noon.

Antiques Valuations from 11am to 3pm.

For full details call Ann Hostler at the Care Centre – during office hours, please – on 01797 223810.
