As we go to press the Wild Boar Festival is in full swing. Well done Ollie Campion and his team for the terrific job in organising and publicising the event, which is proving to be another visitor puller in this, the off season.
Still to come is Rye Fawkes Night on 10th. November, the Christmas Shopping Festival in December and the Scallop Festival in February. All helping to keep Rye traders alive through the tough winter months.
Rye Bonfire Boys are promising a ‘classic’ Rye Fawkes Night on Saturday November 10th. It kicks off from Tilling Green, where refreshments are being served at the Community Centre.
