Activity at the Cattle Market If you happened to pass the Market way on Wednesday, 6th October, you would have instantly realised something different was going on down there. Admittedly it was rather foggy and early in the morning, but there was so much activity and hustle and bustle.
Rye Ram Sale
At 7.30 am. on a beautiful Autumn morning, cattle lorries loaded with Rams began arriving at Rye cattle Market. October 4th. was Ram Sale Day and Messrs. Vidler & Co, local auctioneers, were holding their 47th. Annual Show and Sale.
