Prompt Action Saved More Damage A garden shed ablaze at the rear of a house adjacent to Skinners Garage had Rye Firefighters dashing through the town to extinguish the flames. The first fire appliance was on the scene within four minutes of the alarm being raised and their efforts prevented the blaze spreading into the house.
