Shane, manager and treasurer, and Charmaine  secretary,  Ged Say, chairman. With Martin Blincow, Darren Paine, Francis Walker and Kevin Highams on the committee, and Kelvin Wall , assistant manager make up a formidable team.

Rye Town is in good hands. After two away matches, beating Northiam 3-nil and Icklesham Casuals 5-1, they already top the league and are already being tipped for promotion to the East Sussex Premier Division for the 17/18 season.

There has been a massively positive response from local people and players.  Rye Town will play in the traditional Rye colours of Red & Black, their change strip will be yellow and black.

A big crowd is expected at the Cricket Salts at 3 pm on Saturday (17 September 2016) to cheer on Rye’s new side.

It will be a great day out in Rye on Saturday, the Arts Festival kicks off and the Rye Photographic Society have their Annual Exhibition. Make a day of it and enjoy the town at it’s best.
