The Rye Pre-school Playgroup, which has been serving the local community for almost 40 years, is now expanding to offer services to the 3 month to 2 1/2 year age group. Their premises at Ferry Road are not able to cope so they have set up this service in the Tilling Green Community Centre. The nursery has been decorated and equipped to a very pleasant, high standard and qualified, experienced staff appointed.

Funding for the service has been raised locally and the Rotary Club of Rye and Winchelsea were happy to help out.
The members, some of whom have adult children who attended the Playgroup were unanimous in agreeing to make a donation towards equipment for the new facility.
