Eric Bourne – The Transport Expert
Eric Bourne is one of Rye’s present day characters. He is as well known in Rye as his father and grandfather before him. One of the toughest business men in the town for many years, he, with the help of brother Roy, transformed the four vehicle removal company into the massive International Movers, employing over 100 people, that it is today.
The tough but very fair businessman, has mellowed in his senior years and is a prominent member of Rye & Winchelsea Rotary, helping to raise vast amounts of money for local and international charities.
