The wedding of Kelly Lyons and Paul Benn took place on Saturday June 7th, at St Mary’s Church, Rye. Kelly is the daughter of Vanessa and Jim Lyons from New Romney, and Paul is the son of Pat and Steve Benn from Rye.
Maid of Honour was Carly Allis, Bridesmaids were Jo Lyons and Caitlyn Jenner.
Kelly wore a beautiful long ivory satin dress, the bodice was overlaid with lace and diamonds, with a lattice work fastening at the rear, Paul and his best men all had formal dark suits.
The bride was given away by her father, Paul’s best men were Andrew Jenner and Paul Hudson.
Church Ushers were Danny Benn and Nick Hook, conducting the service was Rev Hugh Moseley.
After the service the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a reception at the George Hotel, first of all soaking up the afternoon sunshine in the garden terrace, before the wedding breakfast and dancing in the Ballroom. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Greece before returning to their Rye home.
