Man charged with rape of woman in Hastings

A man has been charged with raping a woman in Hastings on 17 January.
Sepano Derevianko, 31, of Cornwallis Terrace, Hastings, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (3 February) charged with the rape of a 25-year-old woman at a flat in Cornwallis Gardens.
He was remanded in custody to appear on 2 March at a crown court (the venue is yet to be fixed).
Derevianko is accused of meeting his victim in a bar in Hastings and taking her to a flat and raping her.
