On Friday, 30 May 2008 Rye Harbour, Hastings and Dungeness RNLI Lifeboats came together to say a final farewell to Rye Harbour Crewman ‘Mark Gozna’ who died on March 31. The three lifeboats, along with a party of friends and relatives, plotted a course for Marks final voyage. One of Marks last wishes was to have his ashes scattered at sea by Rye Harbour Lifeboat.
Mark was an inspiration to everyone who knew him and will be sadly missed.
