Hastings & Rye Member of Parliament, Amber Rudd, joined many others from Hastings, Rye and local villages that attended Icklesham Fete on Saturday 10 July.
“On one of the hottest days this year it was a great pleasure to join local residents at their annual fete. The fete had an interesting array of different stalls and activities. I particularly enjoyed the sack race; although I resisted taking part, I was pleased to award the prize to the best jumper!” commented Amber.
Our new MP is pictured with members of the Rye & District Lions Club who were at the Fete raising cash for local causes.
The Lions are visiting most of the fetes in their area this summer to raise funds for charities, local, national and international.
