Nine Sets of Twins

WHERE ARE THEY NOW? This old press cutting was sent in by Jill Fuggle (Smith) of Lea Avenue. It records that no less than nine sets of twins attended the Ferry Road Primary School at one time. The year was around 1948, shortly after the end of the Second World War. It would be interesting to know how these eighteen youngsters got on in life – Where are they now? Cases of mistaken identity are not unlikely at Rye Primary School, Sussex. For Headmaster Mr. M. W. Beevers has nine sets of twins in his classes.
