Local Charity ARRCC is presently undergoing CQC registration which will enable them to deliver Personal Care in the home. ARRCC is celebrating its 12th year in Rye offering services to Adults with physical/sensory impairments and for the older person at ARRCC Elders.
Grace O’Neill explains that ARRCC’s Independent Living will be on offer to provide a variety of options to support and enable people to live independently. Our ethos has always been to try and give disable
d adults the confidence to make the most of their lives, and give them access to all the opportunities available in the wider community. This exciting expansion into Independent Living will enable us to provide additional services such as:
Laundry at £10 collected and delivered weekly (Rye and immediate local area at the moment)
Reflexology and Complementary Therapies at ARRCC or in your own home.
Music at ARRCC or in your own home.
Help getting in and out of bed Washing & Dressing
Preparing Meals e.g. breakfast
Household chores, cleaning, taking out the rubbish
Your own Personal Assistant to take and accompany you :
Shopping
Medical Appointments
Fishing
Horse Carriage Driving
Supporting you to join Outings organised by ARRCC eg. Theatre, Cinema, Air Shows, Shopping Outlets
