Jempson’s JET Forecourt Celebrates Success At National Industry Awards

The Jempson’s Express JET petrol station in Peasmarsh has good reason to celebrate as its site manager, Francis Walker, has been recognised as one of the top three site managers in the UK at the petrol retailing industry’s national awards.

Francis was chosen as one of the top three from hundreds of site managers nominated by forecourts throughout the UK. Family owned Jempsons has been serving the local community for more than 20 years and Francis started working at the site in 2006.

Judges praised Francis’ commitment to delivering consistently high standards of customer service, creating a super team atmosphere and leading by example. Judges were also impressed by the solid relationships he has established with customers, colleagues and suppliers alike.

Stephen Jempson, Francis’ line manager at the forecourt, comments: “Francis is a joy to work with and our customers love him. His can-do approach to the day-to-day running of the site is a real asset and he is a fun a n d ca r in g manager for all our staff. We all know that Francis is an outstanding site manager, but to have his talents recognised at a national level in these awards is even bet ter. We’ re very proud of Francis and his commitment to our site, our staff, our customers and our local community.”
