Rye celebrated The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style. Ryers of all ages came together in a spectacular display of admiration and affection towards the lady who has been a wonderful inspiration and anchor to the British and Commonwealth peoples for sixty tumultuous years.
Support for Queen Elizabeth II does not seemed to have not waned in Rye over the years and the celebrations were no less intense than those seen in this town at the Coronation in 1953.
Long live the Queen.
