Man burned during car fire – Lydd

Incident details
Firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle on fire on the driveway of a property in High Street, Lydd.
Upon arrival, crews found a private vehicle well alight and a man suffering burns being treated by paramedics.
Firefighters tackled the car fire and helped to make the scene safe, while preserving what is currently thought to be case of suspicious ignition. The casualty was then transported to hospital for further treatment.
There are no reports of any other injuries and the cause of the fire will be investigated.
